Where It Started

Yumsentials started in a pretty simple way.

Kamren was trying to stay consistent with her workouts while balancing a demanding schedule and a busy life.
Like a lot of people, she turned to pre-workout for an extra push to get to the gym.

But it didn’t stick.

Every option seemed to have its own issue.
Some were bitter and harsh.
Others were way too sweet.
Some left a strange aftertaste or didn’t mix well.

None of them were something she wanted to keep using.
After a few attempts, she stopped reaching for it altogether.

As her husband, I’d seen it play out firsthand.
So she asked me to help look into better options.

Looking Deeper

I had spent over a decade working in the supplement industry—supporting supply chains and helping develop products for brands sold nationwide.

I went through reviews across dozens of products, and the same thing kept coming up—taste was the most consistent issue.

Which, honestly, wasn’t surprising.

A lot of products are built to look good on a label.
That doesn’t always translate to something people actually want to use.

A Different Starting Point

Instead of jumping straight to ingredients, we took a step back.

How does something like this actually fit into your day?

What would it look like if it were built around everyday use?

Something straightforward.
Something you don’t have to talk yourself into.

That became the starting point.

What Actually Mattered

As we worked through it, a few things kept coming up:

  • it had to taste good enough that you’d actually want to drink it
  • it needed to support your workout without getting in the way
  • it should simplify things, not add steps
  • it had to be easy to use wherever you are

Those ideas shaped every decision we made.

What That Became

That’s what led to Yumsentials.

A pre-workout and hydration formula in a single product.

No separate drinks.
No messy scoops.

Just single-serve sticks you can grab, mix, and actually enjoy drinking.

Without cutting corners on what goes into it.

Because when something is simple and delicious, it’s easier to keep using it.
